Steelmans UK offer a Subcontract Broaching facility with access to a stock of over 3500 broaching tools, now the largest within the United Kingdom. With this wide range of broaching tools and fixtures, together with 10 broaching machines, Steelmans can undertake any broaching operation, internal or surface.
The available broaching capacity is up to 50 tons and over 2 meters of stroke. Broaching capabilities range from keyways smaller than 2mm up to broaches over 127mm (5”) in diameter.
In addition to broaching we also offer substantial Gear Cutting capacity with 9 gear cutting related machines set up for this purpose.
Cutting of both Spur and Helical gears from 0.5 Module to 8 Module.
